Based on two uncolored sheets of about twenty cards at The British Museum, marked 1613 on the two of swords. Italian, possibly from Rome, and perhaps featuring the heraldry of the Colonna Household. Part of the Italo-Portuguese family playing card patterns, but features griffins on the aces instead of dragons. Courts of Re (king), Cavallo (knight), and Fante (jack). Indexed in Italian at top and bottom center of each card.
54 Latin suited, indexed cards with jokers, 83 x 47mm.
